The Summer Starts For The Family of 6
I can not believe that the time is here again. It feels like the fall,winter and spring just flew by. School is out and everyone is under one roof for the WHOLE summer. I’m getting claustrophobic just thinking about it.
Day 1 with his 7yr old daughter, our twins and his 15yr old son.
I am exhausted! My mine hurts. I am too tired to even utter another word. “No, don’t do this.” “No, you can’t do that.” “Put that back where you found it.” “They need to rest.” These are the sentences I’ve said at least 10 times today.
His 7 year old is in love with the twins so much that she tends to be a little overbearing. Yesterday, I explained my daily tasks with the twins. Now the entire schedule went out the door all day. The twins awake for their morning bottle and an extra familiar face. Their older sister wanted to hold them, kiss them, squeeze them non-stop. It is very cute in the beginning because she’s not around them daily and only gets to see them when she visits for the holidays. So its quite understandable that she wants to show them a lot of love. But, if it interferes with their daily schedule, naps, and adds to them being extremely fussy then its not helpful

However, she is very helpful if I need a few minutes here and there. I know she will jump at the chance to entertain them. Lol. His father says she is like the looney toons character, Elmira. “I just wanna love them, and squeeze them, and kiss them.” (Something that Elmira would say as she smothers her pet)
The day was so eventtful that my body shut down around 9pm. And while the whole household was awake and active, I had to say good night. I knew I would need to recharge for the next day
“I wanna love you, and kiss you, and squeeze you.”
